Arm Workout – July 15th 2010
Overall I felt really good today, felt strong and my shoulder is doing much better. 185 pounds on the close grips went up pretty easy today and i didn’t have any pain in the shoulder so that’s a good sign. I flat benched 225 for 4 reps on Monday which was the first time I attempted that weight in months.
Once i feel that my shoulder is 100% I am gonna try and hit a max bench press of 300 pounds. I’d like to stay at a body weight of under 160 when I do it too. Right now my morning weight is 152 pounds before eating anything. By bed time I’ve been weighing around 154.
Chest and Arm Workout – December 23rd 2009
First up was Flat Barbell Bench Presses. I did a couple light warm up sets with 135 and 155 and then I did 5 reps with 185 and 5 reps with 225. Then I finished off my presses with a pumping set with 135 pounds for 31 reps. I love doing a light pumping set after my heavy sets because it really pumps the entire chest up with blood and gives me a nasty pump.

I don’t usually train on Saturday’s as it is usually an off day but today I just had that itch to get in there and pump some iron.
I hit arms today and got a tremendous pump, probably due in part to the fact that I ate a meal high in carbs last night at around 11:00 p.m.
